Kick some ball on our outdoor five-a-side pitch
Thanks to the Flexcourt surface, the outdoor five-a-side pitch is less affected by weather conditions than most other outdoor five-a-side pitches in the region. Therefore, you can play football here all year round.
Please note: Flexcourt is a floating but also hard surface with a fair amount of friction.
Come with an 'indoor' mindset
Most footballers will have to get used to playing on a Flexcourt surface. It is also better to play with the ‘indoor’ rather than the ‘outdoor’ football mindset and kit. Spikes and studs are unnecessary and unwelcome, as they cause damage to the tiles. Please wear indoor football shoes to play here.
Rent the outdoor five-a-side pitch (L.T.1-2-3)
For individual rentals by the hour, at least one of the users must have a valid sports card. You can request individual rentals a maximum of 3 times.
For user agreements a sports card is not required.

*In order to benefit from a discounted rate, at least half of the players must be VUB or EHB students or staff. Reduced rates for VUB or EHB students are charged from Monday to Thursday between 8 and 22h and on Friday until 17h. In the weekend, starting on Fridays at 17h and ending on Sunday at 21h) the normal rate is applied for all. With the "last minute exception" as a rule : on the day itself VUB students can rent the remaining available facilities at Student Peak rate.

Changing rooms
The use of the changing rooms and showers on the first floor of the VUB sports complex on campus is included in the price, as well as lighting during the evening hours.
