Everyone is welcome at VUB

Your time at secondary school is almost over and you’re ready for a new adventure: your life as a student. And being well prepared is half the battle. Discover quickly the difference between secondary and higher education, what a study path looks like, what study credit means, etc.

Do you have a disability, a learning disorder, a chronic illness, are you starting your own business or do find yourself in any other situation that makes studying that little bit harder? If so, you are eligible for support via ReFlex status.

Are you working already, and would you like a diploma (or an extra one)? At VUB, you can choose from a wide range of courses that allow you to study alongside your work. You can also rely on the necessary financial and practical support.

Being an elite athlete shouldn't prevent you from studying at VUB! Thanks to elite athlete status you are entitled to flexible study and can take your course on an individualised path. So an exam needn't get in the way of a championship - or the other way around!

Would you like to choose a course at VUB as an international student? A very smart choice, because we are an international university. More than 1 out of 5 VUB students are from abroad. Together, they represent 148 nationalities.

VUB is open to all students, regardless of origin, religion or beliefs. On our campuses, students from different religions and philosophies come together in an atmosphere of equality, openness and tolerance.
