The Vrije Universiteit Brussel provides top-level fundamental, strategic and applied research with an international reach. Our multidisciplinary team, VUB TechTransfer, supports and facilitates the valorisation of this research by building bridges between our research expertise, industry, and the broader society.
Together with VUB Foundation - the charitable fundraising team - and Crosstalks - the interdisciplinary network platform - VUB TechTransfer forms the Vice Rectorate Innovation & Valorisation, headed by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hugo Thienpont. According to our General Strategic Plan, we want to valorise scientific research results in order to make an innovative contribution to improving an ever-changing society. Therefore, everyday, we are committed to connect university, business and society, and we highly value collaborations with companies.
