What will you learn in the master's programme?

The master in Digital Communication Leadership (DCLead) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) which approaches the vast and recent field of digital communication from an interdisciplinary and international point of view, bringing together advanced academic discussion with practical knowledge and skills.

The master is developed in three innovative tracks, organised by four European universities in Austria, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. The students will have the opportunity to study in two different universities (depending on the chosen track) and spend a research stay at one of the Academic Partners, or an internship at one of the Internship Partners.

You select one of three innovative tracks
  • Policy and Innovation in Europe (POLINN): Are you into future policy developments, critical market analysis, socially grounded contextualizations of current developments and debates on digital communication in a globalized world?
  • Technology and Management (TECMAN): Do you want to lead the design and promotion of developments of new business models, the evaluation of technology trends and the use, adoption and domestication of ICT and new media?
  • Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D): Do you want to know how to analyse the possibilities and risks connected with the use of digital communication for the enhancement of human, social and economic conditions particularly of people living in developing countries?
