Share your knowledge at Science Day
Science: it is the essence of understanding the world and, in fact, almost our entire universe. Science is constantly evolving at lightning speed and researchers keep on making interesting findings. Yet, despite citizens showing an interest in and understanding the importance of science, not everyone is convinced that science can really be fun. Public engagement with science remains limited. Don't agree? Then help us prove it wrong on Science Day!
During Science Day, which takes place annually on the last Sunday of November, Flemish and Brussels knowledge institutions present their research to the general public. At Muntpunt, the location par excellence for the Brussels Science Festival, you as a researcher can give more than 1,000 visitors an instructive day through hands-on activities, workshops or (children's) lectures!
Also VUB proudly exhibits its projects to young and old during the Science Day. VUB Science Outreach and Communication Office needs researchers to present their research to the public in creative, participative and interactive ways. As a researcher, you will receive guidance from the team that will motivate you and help you to further develop your project. Logistics and external communication are also handled by the VUB Science Outreach Office.
